Joshua wants to be a registered nurse so he can help people and is currently in the CNA program at Wylie High School! He'll have his CNA certification when he graduates in the Spring. They go 2-3 times per week to do their clinicals at Wincrest Rehabilitation Center where they learn how to care for the older patients with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. He is also taking dual credit college classes at ASU & CJC!
COMMUNITY SERVICE & EXTRACURRICULARS
- This is his 2nd year participating in the PALS Program at Wylie! With the PALS Program, he was a part of the Just Say No to Drugs Campaign by performing skits for the younger kids.
- Joshua's been a member of the Beltway Park Church Student Ministry for 7 years. They do community outreaches as a group several times a year to help lower income families at an apartment complex.
- He also volunteered at Hendrick Hospital each week this past summer! He was able to assist the nurses in bringing hospital patients whatever needed such as water, coffee and snacks, to help get them comfortable and relay any medical needs they had to their assigned nurses.

- He also went on a weeklong mission trip to New Orleans to help those that were struggling with poverty and hunger.

- Aubrey has a job where she is a childcare provider for two single mothers. She picks the kids up from school and takes care of them until their mothers can pick them up. During the summers, Aubrey not only provides care for the girls, but she also keeps them entertained. She takes them swimming, bowling, they go to the park and the movies.
